An unusual amount of sustained rainfall this spring has created a pond in my neighborhood. I know, because Marcia and I followed streams, Nile-like, to their source. On Logan Street, the stream flows with such force that it has cut a winding path alongside a house and residents have gone so far as to name the new body of water Logan Creek. The small print warns the unwary not to feed the piranhas.

Good News Bad News
The good news is that I’ve kept up with my walking goal. I’m walking at least four times a week and exploring Port Townsend in the process. The bad news is that I haven’t been doing a very good job of documenting it! A lot of my walks are with Marcia and we tend to go either to Artillary Hill in Fort Worden or take a walk around her neighborhood. Even so, there are still fascinating fences to see. The picture above was taken on Cleveland street, just a few block’s from Marcia’s home. The painting has become a little worn, but it was still cheering during our more than usually dreary winter.
